CAF Orders Behind-Closed-Doors Match for Sétif vs. TP Mazembe Semi-Final
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Interclub Competitions Organizing Committee has decided that the first leg of the African Champions League semi-final between Entente Sétif and Tout Puissant Mazembe will be played behind closed doors on Saturday, September 20.
This sanction follows financial penalties and warnings issued by the CAF Disciplinary Jury due to repeated incidents and unsportsmanlike behavior by the Sétif supporters. Match officials reported these disturbances during the Orange Champions League group stage matches.
Entente Sétif topped their group, while TP Mazembe advanced comfortably ahead of AS Vita Club. The other semi-final will see the second-placed Congolese side face CS Sfax.
