Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie started their CAF Champions League campaign with a 1-0 win over AS Vita Club on matchday one.
The decisive goal came in the 66th minute from Taoufik Addadi, giving JS Kabylie three points and temporarily putting them at the top of Group D.
Right-back Amir Belaïli reflected on the victory: “We faced a good team and secured the most important thing. I believe we were superior and the result could have been more emphatic. In this competition, only victory counts. We did everything we could to win. Today, we are happy, and I hope we can achieve more success in the future.”
Looking ahead, Belaïli stressed the importance of preparation for the next challenge: “We must continue to work. An even tougher match awaits us against Espérance de Tunis. We will do everything we can to surprise them and return home with a good result.”
