The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has decided to postpone the final return of the 2012 Champions League by one week. The final will feature Al Ahly against Esperance de Tunis. The rescheduling was motivated by the desire to avoid conflicts with the date of the women’s Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) final. The new date for the final return match is set for the weekend of November 16-18, 2012, instead of the initially designated dates of November 9-11, 2012. This change allows each finalist team to have a two-week gap between each final match.
