This Saturday, the Kamalondo Municipal Stadium in Lubumbashi will be the center of African football attention as TP Mazembe hosts Espérance de Tunis in the second leg of their CAF Champions League semi-final.
The first leg, played last Saturday at Radès Stadium, ended with a narrow 1-0 victory for the defending champions, Espérance. Heading into the return match, the Tunisians know that preserving this slim advantage in the intense atmosphere of Kamalondo will be crucial.
Coach Mouine Chaabanni, emphasizing tactical and technical precision, has scheduled the final training session behind closed doors to ensure full focus from both players and staff. The Espérance delegation is set to depart for the Democratic Republic of Congo on Thursday. Upon arrival, the team will undergo a light training session to recover from travel fatigue, with a full training session planned for Friday at the Lubumbashi stadium.
The Tunisian squad traveling for the crucial clash includes: Rami Jeridi, Moez Ben Cherifia, Ali Jmal, Sameh Derbali, Iheb Mbarki, Mohamed Amine Meskini, Ayman Ben Mohamed, Houcine Rabii, Chamseddine Dhaouadi, Mohamed Ali Yaakoubi, Khalil Chammam, Franck Kom, Fousseny Coulibaly, Ghailane Chaalali, Saad Beguir, Edem Rejaibi, Bilel Mejri, Junior Lukosa, Youssef Belaili, Anice Badri, Haythem Jouini, and Taha Yassine Khenissi.
The winner of this semi-final will face the victor of the other semi-final between Mamelodi
