The government of Tunisia, through the Ministry of the Interior, has reduced the number of spectators allowed for the final return of the CAF Champions League between Esperance de Tunis and Al-Ahly. Initially planned to fill the Radés stadium, it has now been limited to 26,000 Esperance supporters and 1,000 Al-Ahly supporters for security reasons. Additionally, the match will be prohibited for under-20s. This decision comes in the context of security concerns, and law enforcement will be present around the stadium 48 hours before the final. The move follows violence in a match between Esperance de Tunis and Sahel de Sousse in August, leading to a decision to play Champions League matches in front of empty stands. The first leg between Al Ahly and Esperance ended in a 1-1 draw.
