Marouane Chamakh Expresses Desire to Stay at Crystal Palace

Marouane Chamakh, currently on loan at Crystal Palace from Arsenal, has made it clear that he has no intention of returning to the Gunners and hopes to extend his stay with the Eagles next season. The Moroccan international has expressed his desire to continue playing for the Premier League club, with his current contract set to expire this summer.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, the 30-year-old striker, who has enjoyed a successful season with Palace, spoke highly of his experience at the club and his relationship with manager Tony Pulis. “I think he wants me to stay. I want to continue working with Pulis and with Palace. The atmosphere, the players I work with, everything, I don’t want to change anything,” Chamakh explained.

The former Girondins de Bordeaux forward has been a key player for Palace this season, contributing 5 goals and 4 assists in the Premier League. He revealed that his priority is to remain at the club for one or two more years, stating, “I’ve never been happier in England.”

Chamakh’s positive experience at Crystal Palace has led him to consider a longer-term commitment, as he looks to secure his future with the South London club. His potential extension would be a significant boost for Palace, as they continue to build on their Premier League status and aim for further progress in the years ahead.
