CF Jaraiz sign Gambian-Spanish striker Sanku Jabbie on free transfer

CF Jaraiz have signed Gambian-Spanish centre-forward Sanku Jabbie from L’Escala on a free transfer, with the 31-year-old joining the Spanish club on a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Jabbie completed the move on 10 August 2026, bringing his time with L’Escala to an end. The transfer allows CF Jaraiz to add an experienced central striker without paying a fee, although no further financial terms have been disclosed.

Born in Girona on 2 June 1995, Jabbie is listed with both Gambian and Spanish nationality. He stands at 1.94m and operates primarily as a centre-forward, while his preferred foot is his right.

The striker’s physical profile makes him a clear focal point in attack for CF Jaraiz. His height and central position distinguish him from wide forwards, with his role defined around leading the line rather than operating in a supporting position.

Jabbie’s arrival also gives CF Jaraiz a senior attacking option immediately after his departure from L’Escala. The move keeps him in Spain, where he was born, and places him under contract with his new club for the remainder of the 2026-27 campaign and the following season.

CF Jaraiz will now hold Jabbie’s registration through the end of June 2027, following the completed free transfer from L’Escala.
