Ceramica Cleopatra chase Al Ahly youngster Omar Sayed Moawad

Ceramica Cleopatra have entered the race to sign Al Ahly youngster Omar Sayed Moawad during the ongoing summer transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

According to Al-Ahram, Ceramica officials are waiting for Al Ahly’s decision on whether they will allow the highly-rated youngster to leave on a season-long loan, with the club keen on adding promising young talents to their ranks.

Moawad has been identified as one of Ceramica’s options, although Al Ahly’s decision will determine whether the move can be completed.

The 19-year-old remains part of Al Ahly’s plans after being registered among the club’s five rising stars for the first team, but the possibility of gaining more playing time through a loan spell is being considered.

Ceramica recently completed the signing of Slovenian forward Nits Gradiscar from Al Ahly and could return to the Red Castle for another deal involving Moawad.
