Ceramica Cleopatra sign Al Ahly striker Nijc Gradiscar on loan
Egyptian Premier League side Ceramica Cleopatra have officially announced the signing of Al Ahly forward Nijc Gradiscar on a season-long loan deal during the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Slovenian attacker joins Ceramica Cleopatra as the club looks to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
Gradiscar spent the previous season away from Al Ahly on loan, initially moving to the Hungarian league before returning to Egypt and joining Ceramica Cleopatra on another temporary deal.
Following his performances, Ceramica Cleopatra have now completed an agreement to retain the 24-year-old forward for the entire season as they prepare for the new campaign.
Gradiscar will be hoping to make a strong impact with Ceramica Cleopatra after gaining valuable experience during his previous loan spells.
Before his departure from Al Ahly, the Slovenian forward made 41 appearances for the Egyptian giants, contributing 11 goals and six assists.
His goalscoring ability and experience are expected to add further quality to Ceramica Cleopatra’s attack as the club seeks to compete strongly in the Egyptian top flight.
The loan move also provides Gradiscar with an opportunity to secure regular playing time and continue his development while remaining contracted to Al Ahly.
Ceramica Cleopatra will now count on the Slovenian forward to provide goals and attacking threat throughout the upcoming season.
