France-born defender of Central African Republic descent, Leo Bamballi, has signed his first professional contract with Italian Serie A side Juventus.
The teenager has penned a deal with the Italian giants that runs until June 2028 and is expected to continue his development with the Old Lady.
Juventus shared the first official image of Bamballi in club colours following the completion of the transfer, which was facilitated by agent Lodovico Spinosi.
Bamballi, born in Dijon, is known for his tactical flexibility. He featured 20 times for Lyon’s U19 squad during the 2024/25 season and is capable of playing both as a right-back and as a central defender in a back three, a trait highly valued in modern defensive systems.
He will initially join Juventus’ Primavera and Next Gen squads, where he is expected to continue his development in Italy’s Serie C.
The long-term goal is a step up to the senior team as the Bianconeri continue to invest in young talent for the future.
He must work hard for a chance to be promoted to the Juventus senior team.
