Celta Vigo land PSV winger Couhaib Driouech in €7m LaLiga switch
Moroccan-Dutch winger Couhaib Driouech has joined Celta de Vigo from PSV Eindhoven for €7m, becoming the latest player to move from the Eredivisie champions to LaLiga.
The 24-year-old has signed a contract with Celta running until 30 June 2030. Driouech, who plays on the left wing and favours his right foot, completed the move on 25 August 2026.
Driouech arrives in Spain after two seasons with PSV, where he won successive Dutch league titles in 2024-25 and 2025-26. He also collected a Dutch Super Cup winners’ medal with the Eindhoven club in 2026.
His departure brings an end to a spell in which he moved to PSV from fellow Dutch side Excelsior in July 2024 for €3.5m. Before joining PSV, Driouech had spent three seasons with Excelsior after leaving Heerenveen in August 2021.
Born in Haarlem in the Netherlands, Driouech stands 1.75m tall and has represented Morocco at under-23 level. He was part of the Morocco Under-23 side that won the Under-23 Africa Cup in 2023.
The move takes him into the Spanish top flight after a career spent in the Netherlands. Driouech came through Heerenveen’s youth system, progressing from the club’s Under-17 side to its Under-19 and senior teams before joining Excelsior.
Celta have secured the winger on a deal that keeps him at the club through the end of the 2029-30 season, with the transfer valued at €7m.
