Cedric Kaze opens up on relationship with Nasreddine Nabi
Former assistant coach Cedric Kaze has broken his silence on his relationship with Nasreddine Nabi, revealing that the two have not spoken since Nabi’s departure despite maintaining mutual respect.
Speaking in an interview with Robert Marawa, Kaze described the situation as unfortunate but insisted that there is no animosity between them.
“It is unfortunate that the situation happened… Nabi and I have always been on very good terms, but I haven’t spoken to him since he left,” Kaze said.
The Burundian tactician explained that while communication between them has been absent in recent months, their relationship remains cordial.
“He is someone I can call anytime. I’m sure he can call me too, but we haven’t had any phone calls since he left,” he added.
Kaze’s remarks provide insight into his connection with Nabi following the latter’s exit, amid ongoing discussions surrounding coaching changes and relationships within football management circles.
Despite the lack of recent contact, Kaze’s comments suggest that the professional bond and mutual respect between the two coaches remain intact.
