AS Monaco Target Sporting’s Carlos Mané for Summer Move
AS Monaco is actively pursuing Carlos Mané, the talented Sporting Portugal winger born in Senegal and capped at U21 level by Portugal. According to Footmercato, Monaco has already submitted an initial offer between €8.5 million and €9 million for the 21-year-old, but Sporting has rejected the bid, holding out for a significantly higher amount.
Despite the setback, negotiations are ongoing, and the player himself is reportedly very interested in the project proposed by the Ligue 1 club.
Carlos Mané had a solid season, featuring in 29 league matches and scoring six goals for Sporting. Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim, who knows the Portuguese league well, is particularly drawn to Mané’s versatility, pace, and technical quality, making him a priority target this transfer window.
Should the deal go through, Mané would be the latest addition to Monaco’s growing list of promising young talents aimed at blending development with continental ambition.
