Carling Knockout Cup: PSL confirms Last 16 dates, kick-off times and venues

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the dates, kick-off times and venues for the Carling Knockout Cup Last 16, with the opening matches scheduled for this weekend.

Two fixtures will be played on Saturday, 24 October.

Golden Arrows will host Chippa United at King Zwelithini Stadium, with kick-off at 15:00. Later that day, Polokwane City will welcome Siwelele FC to the old Peter Mokaba Stadium for an 18:00 start.

Sunday’s programme begins at 15:00, when Kruger United face AmaZulu FC at Mbombela Stadium. Sekhukhune United will then meet Richards Bay at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium at 18:00.

The remaining four ties will be played in midweek because of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup commitments involving Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.

Defending champions Orlando Pirates will face Milford FC at Orlando Amstel Arena on Tuesday, 27 October, with the match starting at 19:00.

At the same time, Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Marumo Gallants at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Kaizer Chiefs will also be in action on Tuesday, 27 October, hosting TS Galaxy at FNB Stadium in a 19:00 kick-off.

The final Last 16 fixture will be played on Wednesday, 28 October, when Durban City entertain Stellenbosch FC at Chatsworth Stadium. That match will also begin at 19:00.
