South African outfit Cape Town City FC are advancing in talks to appoint Dutch tactician Jan Vreman as their new head coach.
Following the unexpected departure of Andries Ulderink, Cape Town City struggled to find a replacement for the head coach position.
Per reports in South Africa, Cape Town City are in negotiations with Jan Vreman regarding the club’s head coach role.
The 59-year-old, who is currently without a club following his departure from Dutch club De Graafschap in January 2025 has emerged as the frontrunner for Cape Town City job.
The South African outfit is doing everything possible to have Vreman take charge before the start of the national championship play-off matches, where City will face Orbit College.
Vreman spent more than 40 years with Dutch club De Graafschap, having joined in the early 1980s as a player before taking on a variety of coaching roles.
He served as a youth team coach at the club before taking temporal charges of the team along the line.
