Cape Town City are seeking to augment their squad for the new campaign following an inconsistent performance this season. To make way for new arrivals, the Club will have to get rid of some players.
According to reports in South Africa, Cape City have decided to sever ties with Elton Sithole and veteran midfielder Thulani Serero at the end of this campaign.
Sithole, a former player of Orlando Pirates is leaving Cape Town City following his limited playing opportunities at the club. The shot-stopper made just one competitive appearance this season during their Nedbank Cup clash against Sekhukhune United.
Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Serero has struggled to rediscover his form since rejoining the Urban Warriors under coach Muhsin Ertugral.
The ex-Ajax Amsterdam playmaker currently holds a short-term deal with the club that includes a potential extension clause.
