In preparation for their upcoming match against Togo in the second round of qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, Junior category, the Moroccan U20 national team faced off against Angola in a friendly match.
The Lion Cubs of the Atlas emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win over their Angolan counterparts. The lone goal of the match was scored by Chamsseddine Mouad in the 69th minute, following a corner kick.
The two teams are scheduled to play each other again on Saturday, April 26, at the Prince Héritier Sports Complex Moulay El Hassan.
The Moroccan U20 team has been in training camp since April 22, and this second training session is set to conclude on April 27.
