Ghanaian striker Frank Acheampong expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria starting from March 16. However, his club, Anderlecht, reportedly informed the Ghanaian Federation that the player, who is currently in excellent form, would be promoted from the reserve team to the first team in preparation for the Jupiler League play-offs. As a result, the 19-year-old is expected to withdraw from the CAN.
