The reigning champion of the African Cup of Nations under 17, Burkina Faso, has been eliminated from the competition for the CAN U17 2013. Burkina Faso lost the return match of the qualifiers against Tunisia with a score of 3-0 on Saturday.
Despite their defeat in the first leg (2-1), the Aiglons were able to reverse the situation with a double from Hazem Haj Hassen in the 3rd and 27th minutes and a goal from Chiheb Jebali in the 52nd minute. This victory allows Tunisia to qualify for the CAN U17 2013, while Burkina Faso sees its hopes dashed.
