Already qualified for the second round without playing are Togo, South Sudan, Ivory Coast, and Liberia. The first three teams saw their respective opponents—Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda, and Guinea Bissau—withdraw. Liberia won on the green carpet following the disqualification of Gambia for fielding ineligible players.
