Algeria’s Under-20 football team has been eliminated from the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations after a 2-0 defeat to Ghana in the third match of the group A stages. Ghana secured their two goals in the first half, in the 5th and 30th minutes. With this result, Ghana not only qualifies for the semi-finals of the competition but also secures a place in the Under-20 World Cup scheduled for Turkey in June. On the Algerian side, coach Jean Marc Nobilo’s team failed to score a goal in three group matches, suffering two defeats and securing one draw. This outcome may have serious consequences for the French coach.
