The countries that will host the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) in 2019 and 2021, as well as the one chosen for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in 2018, will not be revealed until the first half of 2014. The decision was made during the Executive Committee meeting of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) held in Cairo, Egypt, on September 21 and 22. The deadline for submitting complete application files is set for November 25, 2013, for CAN and December 4, 2013, for CHAN. CAF missions will visit candidate countries to assess various infrastructures from January to April 2014.
