Burkina Faso and Cameroon are set to face each other in a friendly match on June 6, ahead of their opening fixtures in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The match will take place in Paris, France, and is seen as an important warm-up for both teams before the qualifiers kick off later in the month.
For Burkina Faso, the match serves as preparation for their group in the qualifiers, which includes Uganda, Botswana, and Comoros. Meanwhile, Cameroon, who will face South Africa, Mauritania, and Gambia, will also use the friendly to sharpen their squad ahead of a tough qualifying campaign.
Although the Burkina Faso Football Federation has confirmed the friendly, the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has yet to make an official announcement.
