Congo’s Red Devils Gear Up for Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier Against Namibia
Congo’s national football team, the Red Devils, will travel to Windhoek on May 17th to face Namibia in the first leg of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Head coach Claude Le Roy has announced his squad for the crucial encounter, which will be the beginning of their campaign for qualification.
Among the notable inclusions, five players will make their debut for the Red Devils: Allan Kimbaloula, Marvin Baudry, Jordan Massengo, Loussoukou Ngouala, and Atoni Mavoungou. These fresh faces will be looking to make an impact in their first international outing.

Goalkeepers: Chancel Massa, Christoffer Mafoumbi, Pavelh Ndzila.
Defenders: Atoni Mavoungou, Boris Moubhio, Igor N’Ganga, Maël Lepicier, Marvin Baudry.

The return leg of the qualifier will take place on June 1st in Pointe-Noire. Should the Red Devils secure a win in both legs against Namibia, they will then face either Rwanda or Libya in the next phase of the qualifiers on the road to the group stage of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. This match represents an important opportunity for Congo to take a step closer to qualifying for the prestigious continental tournament.
