Ghana’s Starting XI for 2015 AFCON Qualifier Against Guinea:
Coach Maxwell Konadu has made two changes to Ghana’s lineup from their 1-1 draw with Guinea in Casablanca. Solomon Asante and Rabiu Mohammed are brought into the starting eleven as Ghana looks to continue their campaign for the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
Starting XI:
Goalkeeper: Stephen Adams
Defenders: Harrison Afful, Baba Abdul Rahman, Awal Mohammed, Jonathan Mensah
Midfielders: Rabiu Mohammed, Solomon Asante, Kwadwo Asamoah
Forwards: Asamoah Gyan, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew
The experienced Stephen Adams will continue as Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper, while a solid defensive unit with Mensah and Mohamed at center-back will be supported by the pace of Afful and Rahman on the wings. In midfield, Asamoah and Asante will aim to control the tempo, with Gyan, Jordan, and Andre Ayew leading the attack.
