DR Congo Coach Florent Ibenge Names 23-Man Squad for Crucial 2015 AFCON Qualifiers
DR Congo head coach Florent Ibenge has announced his 23-man squad for the final two matches of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, including the returns of Joël Kimwaki (TP Mazembe) and Eddy Ngoy (DCMP).
Speaking to Radio Okapi, Ibenge emphasized the team’s goal:
“The objective remains to qualify for the 2015 AFCON. To stay in the race, we must get a good result against Cameroon. Our ambition is simple: bring back points—3 if possible, 1 at the very least.”
