Angola Dominates Lesotho with 4-0 Victory in AFCON Qualifiers
After a tough start to the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Angola bounced back in style, securing a 4-0 win against Lesotho this afternoon. The Palancas Negras showed their strength on home turf after suffering two losses and a draw in their previous matches.
The opening goal came early, with Bados finding the back of the net in the 2nd minute. Ary Papel doubled the lead with a well-taken goal in the 33rd minute, sending Angola into the break with a comfortable two-goal advantage.
In the second half, Lesotho’s misery continued. An own goal in the 47th minute further sealed the deal for Angola, and Love added another in the 57th minute to complete the 4-0 scoreline.
With this dominant victory, Angola has reignited its hopes of advancing in the qualifiers, while Lesotho will need to regroup ahead of their remaining matches.
