DR Congo Edges Apejes Mfou 2-1 in Final Friendly Before AFCON 2015
As part of their final preparations for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, DR Congo defeated Apejes Mfou, a top-tier Cameroonian club, 2-1 in a friendly played Tuesday at the Okao Maria Centre of Excellence in Mbankomo.
The Leopards, led by coach Florent Ibenge, secured the win thanks to a last-minute goal from Firmin Mubele, reminiscent of the equalizer he scored against Cameroon in an earlier friendly on January 7.

30th minute: DieuMerci Mbokani opened the scoring for DR Congo.
86th minute: Longang equalized for Apejes.
Final minutes: Firmin Mubele clinched the win with a late strike.

The Congolese side is now set to travel to Malabo, where they will kick off their Group B campaign against Zambia, followed by matches against Cape Verde and Tunisia.
