Balon Caf

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) unveiled the schedule for the culminating phase of the 29th edition of the African Cup of Nations football, CAN 2013, hosted by South Africa from January 19 to February 10.

As outlined in the program, the inaugural match is set to kick off on January 19 at 6:00 p.m. local time at Johannesburg’s Soccer City stadium, with the grand finale scheduled for February 10 at 8:00 p.m., once again at the same venue.

The draw for the competition is slated for October 24, 2012, in Durban at 8:30 p.m. local time. Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Mbombela, and Rustenburg have been designated as the five host cities for the various matches.

It’s noteworthy that ticket sales for entry to the stadiums commence on September 25. Ticket prices, categorized into three tiers, range from $80.39 to $23.81. The third and final round of the competition’s qualifiers concludes on October 14.

As a reminder, alongside the host nation South Africa, 15 other nations will participate in this prestigious tournament.
