The return match between Morocco and Mozambique, part of the final round of the CAN 2013 qualifiers, initially scheduled for Rabat, will now take place in Marrakech. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRFM) announced this relocation on Tuesday, without providing specific reasons for the change in venue. Additionally, the match’s time and date have been adjusted, with the Atlas Lions and Mambas set to face each other on Saturday, October 13, at 8 p.m. local time.
The Atlas Lions, currently without a coach, face the challenge of overcoming a two-goal deficit from the first leg in Maputo. Despite this setback, former internationals, including Moustapha Hadji, believe that Morocco, being a strong football nation, can successfully mount a comeback with determination from the players.
