The roster for the upcoming 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa is now complete, featuring 16 nations. Over the weekend, fifteen teams secured their qualification. These include Zambia, the reigning champions, Ivory Coast, the unfortunate finalists, Mali (3rd place), Tunisia, Algeria, Togo, Cape Verde, DR Congo, Ghana, Niger, Burkina Faso, Morocco, Ethiopia, Angola, and Nigeria.
These 15 qualified nations will join the host country, South Africa, in the final phase. Regrettably, notable football powerhouses such as Egypt, Cameroon, and Senegal will be absent.
Scheduled to take place from January 19 to February 10, 2013, the draw for the final phase is set for October 24 in Durban, South Africa.
