The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that it will reveal the sanctions to be imposed on Senegal on November 26. This decision follows the interruption of the match between Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire in October due to violence in the stands. The match, which was part of the CAN 2013 qualifiers, was halted in the 73rd minute after the second goal by the Ivory Coast team. The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) and the Senegalese State have taken diplomatic measures to potentially influence CAF’s decision. The outcome will be known on November 26.
