Côte d’Ivoire is set to play its only preparation match for the upcoming CAN 2013 in South Africa. The Elephants will face the Pharaohs of Egypt at the Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The match is an important part of the team’s preparations for the tournament, where they are considered among the favorites. Led by coach Sabri Lamouchi and featuring star players like captain Didier Drogba, the Ivorian team has been training in Abu Dhabi since January 6. After the friendly against Egypt, they will head to Rustenburg in South Africa on January 16. Ivory Coast’s first CAN 2013 match is scheduled against Togo on January 22.
