CAN 2013: PLAYERS TO FOLLOW IN THE MALI-DR CONGO MATCH

The upcoming match between Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) in the African Cup of Nations (CAN) 2013 is crucial for both teams as they vie for a spot in the quarter-finals. Mali holds an advantage with a win against Niger but suffered a defeat to Ghana, while DR Congo secured two draws against Ghana and Niger.

A draw in this match would be sufficient for Mali to advance to the next round, but DR Congo, led by coach Claude Leroy, is determined to secure all three points. Dieumerci Mbokani, the Golden Boot of the Pro Jupiler League in 2012, is eager to rebound after a less-than-ideal performance against Niger. He is joined in the attack by captain Trésor Mputu and Tresor Lualua.

Mputu Trésor, a player considered one of the pure products of African football, must prove himself after a disappointing display against Niger. Lualua Tresor, with his experience in the tournament, is expected to showcase his talent and contribute to the team’s success.

On the Mali side, coach Patrice Carteron relies on the vast experience of Seydou Keita to control the midfield and guide the team to victory against DR Congo. The performance of Cheihk Biadaté, a player with good passing and striking abilities from Girondins de Bordeaux, will be crucial for Mali’s success.

The match promises to be a tactically intense battle between two knowledgeable coaches and experienced players, and the outcome will determine which team advances to the quarter-finals of CAN 2013.
