Didier Drogba, the captain of the Ivory Coast national football team, is considering the possibility of training with his former club Chelsea to prepare for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) in 2013. Drogba, who is currently playing for Shanghai Shenhua, wants to seek permission from both Shanghai Shenhua and Chelsea before making any decisions. His intention aligns with the national coach Sabri Lamouchi’s desire to have active players in the squad for the tournament. Drogba is among the 24 players selected by Lamouchi for the friendly against Austria on November 14.
