Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu will not be part of Ghana’s squad for the match against Malawi due to a knee injury. The Udinese midfielder suffered the injury during the Europa League match against Liverpool. The Ghana Football Federation confirmed his withdrawal, and coach Kwesi Appiah has called up Afriyie Acquah of Parma as a replacement. Despite his unavailability, Badu expressed confidence in his teammates and wished them good luck in the decisive match for CAN 2013 qualification. Ghana has a 2-0 advantage from the first leg.
