Adam Fazazi has taken charge of training sessions for Togo’s Under-20 national team as they prepare for the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations. Around sixty players are currently undergoing training under Fazazi’s guidance, with the aim of forming a pre-selection squad.
Fazazi, a seasoned coach with experience in youth teams, has previously served as assistant coach for Les Eperviers A’, leading them to success in tournaments such as the Ufoa and Umoa Cup. Currently coaching Maranatha de Fiokpo, the 37-year-old has also managed clubs in Togo, including ASKO de Kara, Anges de Notse, and Asfosa de Lomé.
The junior Eperviers are set to face Equatorial Guinea in the first round of qualifiers for the African Under-20 Cup, Senegal 2015. The first leg is scheduled to take place on April 4, 5, or 6, 2014 in Lomé, with the return leg on April 25, 26, or 27, 2014 in Malabo. The winner of this tie will advance to face Morocco in the next round.
