Schalke 04 have completed the signing of Cameroon international Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe as the German club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new campaign.

The 25-year-old midfielder has joined Schalke from Eintracht Frankfurt, with the Bundesliga side confirming that he has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028. He will wear the number 29 shirt as he begins a fresh chapter in his career.

The move marks a return to German football for Dina Ebimbe, who spent last season on loan with French top-flight side Stade Brestois.

After gaining further experience in Ligue 1, he now returns to Germany determined to contribute to Schalke’s ambitions as they prepare for the challenges of the new season.

The Cameroon international has also built an impressive record in the Bundesliga. Across 57 league appearances, he contributed a combined 14 goals and assists, underlining his ability to influence matches in both attacking and defensive phases.

Internationally, Dina Ebimbe has represented Cameroon on three occasions. His performances for club and country have established him as a dependable midfielder capable of operating in different roles across the pitch.

For Schalke, securing a player with experience in the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the Champions League is another step in reinforcing the squad before the season begins.
