Cameroonian defender Blondon Meyapya joins FK Radnik Bijeljina to relaunch career
Cameroonian defender Blondon Meyapya has secured a fresh start after signing with FK Radnik Bijeljina in the Bosnian top flight.
The 25-year-old centre-back had been without a club since the expiration of his contract with Red Star FC in France’s second division.
Now, he will look to revive his career in Bosnia and Herzegovina following confirmation of his acquisition.
“New signing for FC Radnik – Blondon Meyapya!” wrote the club while confirming the signing of the former Fauve Azur defender.
Radnik Football Club continues to strengthen its squad, and the new name in the blue and white jersey is Blondon Meyapya.
Meyapya was born on 10 February 2001 and plays as a defender. He began his career in his native Cameroon before moving to France, where he featured for Angers and FC Red Star in the French second division.
He has represented Cameroon at all youth levels and has also featured for the senior national team. The defender has been handed jersey number 5 shirt as he embarks on a new challenge in Bosnia
Meyapya’s journey has seen him develop through Cameroon’s football ranks before gaining experience in European football. His move to Radnik presents a new chapter and an opportunity to establish himself as a key defensive figure in the Bosnian first division.
