The Caïman girls from Douala have completed an exceptional season by winning the National Women’s Football Cup in Cameroon. In the final played at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé, they defeated Lorema Football Club from Yaoundé with a score of 2-1. Geneviève Ngo Mbeleck, who also received the title of the best player in the final, scored both goals for Caïman in the 20th and 85th minutes. This victory adds to their earlier successes in the championship and the “Women’s Tournament,” completing a remarkable season for the newly promoted team.
