Two days before the conclusion of the Cameroon Elite One championship, Douala Union secured the title with a 4-1 victory over New Stars during the 24th day of the championship. This triumph marks Douala Union’s first championship since 1990. As champions, Douala Union will participate in the African Champions League in the upcoming season.
Additionally, Coton Sport de Garoua, guaranteed to finish second, will also compete in the African Champions League.
