Cameroon has officially announced a new partnership with French sportswear brand Le Coq Sportif, ending the period without a kit supplier following the expiration of its contract with Puma at the end of last year. “Thirty-seven years after their first encounter, the rooster and the Indomitable Lions will rewrite their shared history,” the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) stated in its announcement. According to the statement, Cameroon will wear the Le Coq Sportif kits in competition for the first time on June 10 in France during the Women’s World Cup and on June 25 in Egypt, where the national team will aim to defend its title at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
