Cameroon striker Lavissa Monyuytaah begins Oman move with Fanja SC

Cameroon forward Lavissa Monyuytaah has joined Fanja SC, switching from Moroccan club Beni Mellal on a free transfer.

The 24-year-old centre-forward completed the move on 5 September 2026 and has signed a contract with the Oman-based club until 30 June 2027. Fanja compete in the Jindal League, giving Monyuytaah a new chapter in his career after his time in Morocco.

Monyuytaah joined Beni Mellal on 31 January 2026, also on a free transfer, and now moves on after a brief spell with the club. The transfer makes Fanja his latest destination following previous periods with Beni Mellal and Masafi SC.

Before arriving in Morocco, the Cameroon striker had been with Masafi in the United Arab Emirates. He joined the club on 1 January 2022 and remained there before making his move to Beni Mellal at the beginning of 2026.

His recorded competitive involvement includes one appearance in the UAE President’s Cup, in which he played 45 minutes. He is listed as a centre-forward, the position he will take into his new spell with Fanja.

Monyuytaah was born on 10 November 2001 and is 24 years old. His move to Fanja was completed without a transfer fee, continuing a sequence of free transfers between his recent clubs.

Fanja have now secured the services of the Cameroon attacker through the end of the 2026-27 season, with the agreement running until June 2027.
