Cameroon lead Comoros 1-0 at half-time in Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifier

Cameroon are ahead of Comoros at the break in their opening Group G match of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifying campaign.

The Indomitable Lions have controlled the contest from the start, enjoying 68% possession and winning five corners. Comoros have had 32% of the ball and have yet to match their opponents’ influence.

Cameroon’s pressure was rewarded in the 39th minute when D. Nyengue (Danny Namaso) found the net to give his side a deserved lead before half-time.

The Comoros must respond after the interval if they are to turn the match around, while Cameroon will look to maintain their intensity and extend their advantage.
