FIFA, through Fecafoot, aims to bring order to Cameroonian football and address the ongoing challenges within the federation, which is currently mired in an institutional crisis and overseen by a normalization committee. To this end, FIFA has dispatched a delegation led by Primo Corvalho to the country of Samuel Eto’o.
Scheduled to arrive in Yaoundé on Thursday evening, the delegation’s primary objective is to assess the progress made by the normalization committee, particularly regarding the development of new governing regulations for Fecafoot.
Only after this evaluation will a decision be made regarding the feasibility of organizing elections within the Cameroonian football governing body.
