A group of club presidents affiliated with the Regional Football League of the Far North in Cameroon, including Kohi Club of Maroua, Olympic FC of Maroua, Zapazon Football Academy of Kaélé, and Gro-ngolona Sports of Yagoua, has taken legal action against Joseph Owona, president of the Standardization Committee of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fécafoot). The clubs are demanding compensation of 7,700,000 CFA francs each (a total of 31,000,000 CFA francs) for lost earnings due to their exclusion from the preliminary phase of the Cameroon Cup 2013 edition. This legal challenge adds to the complexities surrounding Fécafoot and its leadership.
