Cameroon and Nigeria reveal official line-ups for Women’s Africa Cup of Nations showdown

The official starting line-ups for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2026 meeting between Cameroon and Nigeria have been announced, with both coaches naming their teams for one of African football’s headline fixtures.

Cameroon will begin with Michaely wearing number 23, alongside Mayi Kith, who has been allocated number two. Toko Njoya is listed as number six, while Mendoua. G will wear the number nine shirt.

Naomie Eto has been named with number 10, and Ngah Manga will start in number 11. C. Meyong, listed as number 13, is also included in the Cameroon XI, as are Ngock, M. Nyadjou and Makana, wearing numbers 14, 21 and 26 respectively.

C. Ndzana completes the Cameroon line-up and has been assigned number 15.

Cameroon starting XI

Michaely (23), Mayi Kith (2), Toko Njoya (6), Mendoua. G (9), Naomie Eto (10), Ngah Manga (11), C. Meyong (13), Ngock (14), M. Nyadjou (21), Makana (26), C. Ndzana (15).

Nigeria’s selection includes goalkeeper Nnadozie, who will wear number 16. Babajide has been named with number two, while Ohale is listed as number three.

Ucheibe, wearing number 10, and Echegini, wearing number 11, are both included in the Nigerian starting side. Abiodun has been given number 13 and Demehin number 14.

Monday will start in number 20, with Alozie listed as number 22 and Oladipo as number 24. Ajibade, wearing number 15, completes the Nigeria XI.

Nnadozie (16), Babajide (2), Ohale (3), Ucheibe (10), Echegini (11), Abiodun (13), Demehin (14), Monday (20), Alozie (22), Oladipo (24), Ajibade (15).

The announcements confirm the 22 players selected to begin the encounter, with both teams’ official line-ups now set out ahead of the contest. Cameroon’s team features Michaely, Mayi Kith, Toko Njoya, Mendoua. G, Naomie Eto, Ngah Manga, C. Meyong, Ngock, M. Nyadjou, Makana and C. Ndzana.

Nigeria will be represented from the start by Nnadozie, Babajide, Ohale, Ucheibe, Echegini, Abiodun, Demehin, Monday, Alozie, Oladipo and Ajibade.

The two selections were disclosed by their respective coaches for this major African football meeting. With the official teams confirmed, the focus now turns to the Cameroon-Nigeria contest at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2026.
