Cameroon Professional Football League Sets $55 Million Prize Fund for Top Five Clubs

With seven rounds remaining in the current season, the Cameroon Professional Football League has announced a substantial prize pool for the top five clubs in the league. A total of $55 million will be distributed as bonuses based on final league standings.
Thérèse Pauline Manguelé, the league’s general secretary, confirmed the details to camfoot.com, outlining the breakdown of the rewards:

“This prize pool of fifty-five million will be shared among the top five in Ligue 1,” Manguelé explained.
This incentive scheme aims to boost competition and reward excellence as clubs push for strong finishes in the championship. The league currently features 37 teams competing across Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.
The announcement reflects the Professional Football League’s commitment to enhancing the financial incentives within Cameroon’s domestic football system, fostering growth and professionalism in the sport.
