England international of Ghanaian descent Callum Hudson-Odoi has shared his excitement after inspiring Nottingham Forest to victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The 25-year-old started and played for 90 minutes as his outfit cruised to a resounding 3-0 win over Tottenham in the round 16 of the Premier League clash, held at ‘The City Ground’.
Hudson-Odoi was directly involved in all goals, scoring twice and serving an assist as the side made light work of Tottenham in the high-stake clash.
After the game, the former Chelsea marksman, has expressed his joy after inspiring the side to a sweet victory.
“As a forward, you want to be contributing as many goals and assists as possible. It has been hard for me recently but I am happy to contribute to all three today.
“From the start we were go, go, go. Every game we want to be at maximum from the beginning. The boys delivered an amazing performance from start to finish. We wanted the game from defence to attack.” He said.
Hudson-Odoi opened the scoring in the 28th-minute mark through Callum Hudson-Odoi as the hoist went to the break with the advantage.
After recess, the English-Ghanaian star fired home his second goal of the match to extend his outfit lead in the 50th-minute before setting up Ibrahim Sangaré, who slotted home the third goal to cement the win.
