After training sessions in Togoville and Accra, the paramilitary club is heading to Burkina Faso for further preparation. They will engage in two friendly matches against local clubs, AS Sonabelle and ASFA Yénengua.
Ahead of their departure from Lomé, the team received a visit from the Minister of Sports during their last training session. Angele Amouzou Djaké offered words of encouragement and conveyed support from the government.
During their training stint in Accra, AS Douanes experienced mixed results, securing a victory against Amidaus Profs (a club ranked 6th) but suffering a defeat against Ashanti Kotoko (0-1).
AS Douanes finished second in the previous season of the Togo national football championship, demonstrating their competitive capabilities.
